*Entering Mushroom Castle to see Sonic, Tails, and Shadow talking with Mario, Luigi, Peach, and Toadsworth.*

*Door opens in wrecked Death Egg*

*Sonic and Shadow enter*

*Door closes*

*Lights turn on and they are shocked to see...*

Shadow: "What the...!"

Sonic: "Tails!!! I thought for sure you were dead!!!"

Tails: "That's what Mecha Sonic thought too, but I was able to outsmart him and play dead." *lowers his head* "I checked on our other friends, but they weren't so lucky."

Sonic: "So, you're the only survivor." *Lowers his head*

Shadow: "Look you two, we don't have time to mourn for them. Mecha Sonic has gone to wherever I warped those Chaos Emeralds. We need to figure out

EDIT: Changed the color palette of the Sonic sprites. Going to be using that color palette for Sonic in this series.

It wasn't me who recolored Sonic in that color palette.

gave me a link to someone who recolored Sonic that way to give him a more modern color design.
